I also have gotten onto LJ a few times recently to write a real update but i just get upset :(

 so today was finally the day.  I went out and bought the new generation macbook pro, 15in screen.  With it i also got the entire Adobe CS4 for $350 because of the massive student discount.  I also got the free printer that apple is giving away because my printer sucks.
