Last night I COULD NOT sleep at all. At like 3:00 AM I was getting so irritated I got up and went to sit in my window sill. Anyway, as I was sitting there, watching drunk people out in the quad I noticed this GREEN LINE. First, in my sleepiness I thought it was a piece of string hanging from my building. They use those lasers to make measurements of land movements. Satellites pick up the beam and are able to track how much drift there is to the terra firma.

haha, that was a LONG time ago, back before i had any physics friends. :)

err, well... i'm not going to add you... just because it makes me really nervous adding people that actually know the people i'm talking about. even though i talk less and less about them everyday. but ANYWAY it's all in there and i would feel weird about it.
