I JUST GOT A SPLINTER IN MY FOOT AND IT WAS A PIECE OF HAIR

it was definitely a hair
there's bits of hair on the floor because i've been cutting mine a bit the past week

Maybe something sharp (like a piece of wood) jabbed the hair in, then the sharp thing fell out.
