He’s running, running for his life (and doesn’t it feel odd to be able to say that and actually mean it?) with the roars of the giant reptile sounding all too close behind. He’s fairly sure ( Read more... )

I really did. I thought the chase Connor came off excellently, then him ending up in the water just when he thought he was safe.

But poor boy, I can just picture that last comment from Nick running round in his brain driving him insane, as he tries to figure out if Nick meant it or if he misunderstood, and if he didn't what should he do. Its going to drive him NUTS. I hope you intend to write these two again.

Very nice! Loved the exchange at the end. And the comment about mutating (although I understand the Thames is, actually, pretty clean these days...)

Thank you.

It's supposed to be, but I'm not quite sure I trust that. I've seen quite a few unidentified objects floating past me in the last few days!

And that wouldn’t be bad at all, really, apart from the fact that he can quite certainly feel stubble against his chin, and unless Abby’s decided to grow a goatee then it’s almost definitely a man.

*giggles*

Poor Connor, never does go for the sensible option. And Nick's last sentence made me squee. Any chance of us finding out what Connor might do to earn that? ;)

He just doesn't strike me as a very sensible person at all, really xD

And quite possibly. The idea's very tempting, and if a plot bunny bites then who am I to refuse?
