tonight's the burnal equinox -- halfway point to the playa. go make a bonfire and dance around naked and drunk. or at the very least, get yourself some tickets to the burn.

i seem to have gone from a sick boy sleeping all day and coughing to a sick boy sleeping all day and coughing with pink eye. my computer suddenly died. i was reading salon, hit the back button and the computer just turned itself off and then would refuse to boot. the bios wouldn't recognize the CD-ROMs and was getting the primary disk's name wrong. it randlonly did decide to recognize the IDE devices but will only boot into linux (and unfortunately, i don't have my USB ( Read more... )

san francisco was great fun; saw a few old friends, missed a few others. partied nearly every night despite being incredibly tired on most. sat night, went to a psytrance party in oakland and danced for hours -- what a great feeling dancing to psytrance again, letting the music take hold of my body and thrash it around mercilessly. i caught a cold ( Read more... )
