The Coming Software Apocalypse I'm not completely sold by this. There are areas where it definitely makes sense, but I'm not sure how it would fit into a lot of the work I see. But I'm prepared to be convinced.

Interesting about how gold distorts the export figures; but it's somewhat disappointing for the article to spend so much time talking about gold and export figures, and then to mention in passing "but what's really bad about the trade figures is that they don't mention services", with no further detail. Services are the important thing when it comes to Brexit!
