I hadn't realised they were as weird as that - I vaguely thought they were the folk from Waterloo Place warmed up again, and they seemed relatively sensible (as far as that applies to someone who's decided to sit in the street until they get what they want...)

This is one time when reading the comments is actually informative.

The argument they make is that John Hill (jahtruth.net) is the second coming of Jesus Christ. Their arguments come from a mix of science fiction (Dune & Star Wars) with smatterings of Christianity. It's all very strange, including beliefs that Dune is factually correct, and that the force compelled George Lucas to write Star Wars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B42GGWxqf8U

yeah, its scary for people who are gonna be here a long time. I figure i got 20-40 years max, i dont think the world's gonna end in that time. But my niece is ten. Hypothetically, she still could be here through the rest of this century. I cant imagine how shitty things are gonna be in like, 2095 or whatever.

If the man they like to identify as "Former Labour Chancellor Alistair Darling" backs Osborne's plans, I wonder what Former Labour Chancellor Gordon Brown has to say.
