I am very pleased that Bioware have now gone with giving some romance interests specific sexualities.

Dragon Age: Origins' romances came across a little bit creepy, at times, by not having that. I think it was an honest attempt to be -more- open-minded, but it kind of misfired and felt sort of pandering instead.

Barstaff wearing white shirts and ties - unless you're a waiter in a wine bar, your shirt is going to get filthy, quick, and an angry drunk is going to strangle you with that tie

Great set of links! The celebrity culture / quantum physics piece is very amusing; the Sim City homelessness article is chillingly understated and makes me want to see the book; the Dragon Age: Inquisition relationships are awesome and fantastic to read about; and more. Cool!

For the last decade, the so called 'experts' been telling us it's all the fault of fat buggers and now they change their minds and decide to blame lazy buggers?

I'm convinced they're aiming towards having us all live on gruel at which point they'll declare oatmeal unhealthy!

Wonder how many people crank diets and ridiculous levels of gym work kill off annually?

TV depictions of professions: Writers tend to be depicted as struggling with words by crumpling up pieces of paper and throwing them in balls on the floor. I've never done that, even when paper was my regular medium.
