A "trio of new young leads" is a really bad sign.

As opposed to what, dragging Hamil, Fisher, and Ford back in front of the camera? Recasting their roles with twentysomething actors a la Star Trek?

To get rid of the prequel burn they'd be smart to have hamil, fisher and ford have big roles in the first film and then use that to introduce new characters.

Naah, they're never going to do that.

For a start, I don't think people really want to see _old_ Hamill, Fisher and Ford pulling an Indy IV.

We'll get new characters, and some cameos from old characters to anchor things a bit.

I want to see Ford's Dumbledore Beard.

The problem with the evidence for the homework thing is the same problem as with all new school methods. It's like mild/moderate depression: everything works (on average). Any intervention short of beating the students unconscious will have positive results until they get used to it.
