Rats. I was really hoping for a Thrawn movie.

I also would have liked to see the arch that makes Luke both a Sith and the Emperor (cant' remember the name of that series.)

I haven't read the Thrawn books, but I suspect we'd need a trilogy, at least, to cover that much text :->

But isn't VII through IX supposed to be a trilogy?

Doesn't rule out a Thrawn trilogy, just means it can be any story they want to tell, and doesn't need to feel it ties into or follows the books. They still have the opportunity to use any EU stuff, but they can ignore it completely if they want to. Which, y'know, we already knew, I don't actually see this is a change in any way.

I will point out that witchcraft story is from 2000 (and made into a TV movie in 2006 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_Like_Everyone_Else))

Thank you - that's fascinating to know!

Also, the lawsuit didn't go nearly as well as the ostensibly-accused had hoped:

I would note that, despite her deeply held beliefs, the unhappily-divorced plantiff seems to have a slightly shaky hold on the Church's rules on divorce. It's perfectly OK to obtain a civil divorce and, in fact, you have to have a decree absolute before you can begin proceedings for an annulment, if that's what you're going for. I suspect she may not be acting in good faith. Pun intended.

Yeah. Something odd is going on there.

It's amazing that something that was so obvious (the equality of all persons) in the '60s is still an issue.

I don't think you understand. Women are _equal_ to men. They're just different - it's not their fault they're genetically programmed to love pink and hate mathematics, but we shouldn't force them into areas they're designed to hate, like "making decisions" or "earning as much".

Fuck. I thought they were better at making decisions.
