I joined up at Curves almost a month ago. I have been going with two friends three times a week. The scale has not budged, nor are my clothes any looser (it’s been three weeks, I'm not surprised) however, I am just loving this newfound energy ( Read more... )

I know how hard it is and I hope it all works out for you.
Yes, goals are very important. They help you focus on the task at hand. Just remember to set reasonable goals and take one day at a time.

Great plan!! If only it was as easy as it sounds!

I found and like sparkpeople.com. It's free, there are a lot of recipes, forums etc. etc. and you can track your food and exercise to help keep you accountable! You can put in Moxie! as who referred you ;)

Jody (euphrasie) also has a weight loss community here on LJ!

I'm right with you. I've just recommitted to WW. I did the backwards version of you--re-started exercise in January, but am just now getting eating back in control. The big thing for me this go-around is that my husband and I are doing it together, so we have support and accomplishment in all the day to day stuff. You can do this!!!!
