Oh God, yes, pretty much all of those (except maybe #3, for me, because I don't like AUs). So much pain!

Right? Especially with some OTPs. Because with some it makes you cringe, but you can deal, maybe, somehow, but with some it's just like no, no, no, why did you have to ruin it all?! D:

Hahaha, I'm glad to know I'm voicing not only my own frustrations in here XD And yes, omg, characters crying. This is like something that makes me cringe, I mean, sure, they can cry, yeah, but not every other scene and just because their beloved one doesn't pay attention to them, omg.

And yep, writing your own AUs is the way to go. (Personally I'm now making a series of graphics for tumblr with mystrade AUs in hope to put ideas in the heads of other authors. Inception style. ^_^)

Dear god, I found this rather epic length nu!Kirk/Spock fic with interesting plot, but halfway through Kirk was just so OOC 12yo girl that not even the plot could keep me reading. Waste of a good plot.

Mystrade is a pairing that I have occasionally read but never wrote. Good luck finding your victims writers! ;)

That is the pain, yeah. The only worse is when suddenly Spock is a 12 yo and crying all over the place. (And if I never again read that he'd cry if he had tear ducts, it'll be too soon.)

As for my cunning plan: So far I've got a few comments of "omg, yes, someone please write this!" variety, so I remain hopeful. ;)

#3, #4 and #6 are not bugging me all that much, but the rest? Definitely. So much. (And I may be guilty of doing #1 sometimes, when I include background pairings...)

#9 and #11 can get especially tricky.

I'm glad you can related to at least some of those :D

And yep, #9 and #11 are fucking tricky and to me usually happen in Star Trek fandom. XD Although, I admit, I encountered a few in Sherlock as well.

1 and 2 always happens to me in the Attack on Titan fandom. I want to scream every time. The primary ship of the fandom isn't even PLAUSIBLE. THERE'S NOTHING BETWEEN THEM, YOU HAVE A MAGNIFICENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN OT3 AND YOU'RE RUINING IT FANDOM. Just. *grumbles*

And okay number 12 is tricky for me. Sometimes it works but then when it's overdone I just close the tab because I'm not here for this.

Hahaha, yeah, I suffer the first two in Sherlock fandom. XD

Number 12 is tricky, because there are characters/ships/plots in which it does work. But then sometimes it really, really doesn't. *shudders*
