( multi-fandom friending meme)

Second of all:

I fell behind with LJ (and life) again. I'm terribly sorry, I will try to catch up. My excuse is bad as always, this time it's freshly downloaded and installed new version of Sims. (This time 3rd part with all - most? - add ons.)

Third of all:Picture meme! Yes, it took me ages, forgive ( Read more... )

Thank you for alerting me to a friending meme, I love those!

The Sims 3 is an entirely understandable reason for absence, especially when you just got it! I can spend hours on that game. I think it's better than Sims 1 or 2, but I know a lot of people who still prefer 2. What do you think, if you played the others?

I think the view from your window is nice, with the trees and your nice diamond window panes. Your desk picture isn't completely authentic since you cleaned it, you know! :P

Few months ago I downloaded part 3, but just basic. And there were some problems with it working properly so, since my friend recommended it, I downloaded myself part 2. I enjoyed it for a while, but I've missed 3 XD I think I preffer 3. Obviously there are always some bits that I like more about other part, but yeah 3 wins for me. I just hated in 2 that when I was playing one household the others were frozen in time, so to speak. This was most annoying for me :)

As for pics: yeah, I'm not saying it's a bad view. It's just nothing special either, I think. *shrugs* it's good enough, I guess :) At least I don't have many people hanging around right under my window, that always weird me out.

And I wanted for you guys to be able to see my desk, so it needed to be cleaned up XD

Good, 'cause I wasted whole two days on them. And I literally mean whole days. XD

My bookcase is very telling about my crazy brain and eclectic tastes XD

I make evil prompts and I'm not ashamed. *g*

You've got lovely coverlet! Most of what they sell now is so ugly... *sigh*

I'm afraid the view from my window is far from impressive
Ei, come on, it haz trees. Lots of them. In my book it counts for great.

Buttons in jars! ♥ (*cough* I have a thing from childhood for collections of buttons.)

I forgot. Thanks for the friending meme link!

Evil and proud? XD That's properly villain-y of you ;D

Indeed it does have trees. And I guess it isn't too bad. (Though if trees are the signs of greatness here than the view from my window at my family house is epic. There I have forrest. XD)

BUTTONS <3

And you're very much welcome. It amazes me sometimes how not so long about LJers were like "friend cut, 'cause I can't keep up with you all guys, so I want to only keep those I still interact with" and these days it's like "friending meme! another friending meme! find those precious few who are still around!" It's like LJ-zombie-apocalypse. (Brilliant.)

I can add a bonus 'Mwahahaha!!!' *g*

Forests are ♥! Ticks and gnats not so much.

Speaking of zombie apocalypse, Tumblr indeed seems to work so for LJ... 'Braaaainz!'

There sure could be! In one place I stayed, a view from my roommate's window was a wall of the next building and just a few inches of sky visible above. It was terrible xD

OMG ZIZEK! YOU HAVE ZIZEK ON YOUR SHELF.

oh, we're so supposed to be friends.

the button jars are super cute. I love random things in jars - except like creepy stuff...well some creepy stuff.

lol the desk addendum :P I feel like I *should* apologize but..... hahah. But I know what you mean, I move around too. Normally I'm at my desk, but I have this giant chair in my room I like to sit in too, especially because I can only sit in it for a few hours before I have to move - which is great when I don't want to be up to the wee hours of the morning being on the internet hahah. And like right now, I'm at the kitchen table.

INDEED I DO :DDD I admit I have not yet this book completely, just tidbits here and there, but yeah, I love Zizek and I got the book, when I first found out about him and got a bit obsessed for a while. :D Well, I say 'obsessed', but to be honest it seemed like suddenly everything around was about Zizek for a while. 'Cause I went for a univeristy movie night and they were showing The Pervert's Guide to Cinema. Then in another place was screening of Zizek!, so I went. And then there was class about his philosophy, which I mostly attended, but gave up, I knew too little about all the surrounding stuff and people there were few years up, so I barely understood anything. And then there was a meeting with Zizek, so I went as well. And basically it all was within few months and probably was influenced by the group that edited the book I have and organized the meeting, but it was weird. Good, but weird ( ... )
