Isn't that funny about the cell phones? I've seen more people slip up on that--and the power of laptops, the existence of iPhones, e-readers, etc. How quickly all that tech has become commonplace, and how difficult, especially for those who've come of age as the tech did, to write a narrative excluding it.
But Blood Ties, Vicki, Henry, and Mike, will always be among my favorites. As, of course, are you.
The first time I read about Vicki and Henry and Mike, it was 1994. (And there were no cell phones, so that never struck me as odd.) I was hooked. Over the years, I have reread all of the books every time a new one came out, and I own everything, including short stories, and all the Shadow/Tony spinoffs. Thanks for this little 22 years later insight.

Remind me to thank Sheila for taking the series, too. It's been a household favourite for years.
