Okay, technically not really  new since it's been out for a few days but this is the first chance I've had to post so it's new to live journal.  That's my story and I'm sticking with it.  Or to it.  Or ish.  There's some weird italics happening in the Nook version -- thanks to  theniwokesoftly for spotting it -- but I was already feeling like I'd delayed telling ( Read more... )

Obviously I already bought it :D

You know, I love it as a standalone. I know so many people who've begged for a sequel, but RD Cumming said a good book has no ending and I think that is very, very true, and very applicable.

*love* this book. Ok, love all of your books but - it seems like many - this one is my go-to comfort reread. Can't even say how many times i've read it. Makes me happy every time though....hmmm, strikes me that an e-version would be very handy....

Oh man, I have not read this one! But argh, college is starting again! My free time is disappearing by the second! Also this is the third term in a row I've brought the most recent confederation novel to school with me and have yet to finish it, so perhaps I should do that.

...one of my friends who just graduated says that the ability to just sit down and read fiction for fun comes back after college, and I'm crossing my fingers.

This is my favouritist book ever! Finished reading it for the first time at midnight, wanted to start again immediately. Must've read it at least 20 times now...
