New e-book!

Aug 19, 2012 15:42

Okay, technically not really  new since it's been out for a few days but this is the first chance I've had to post so it's new to live journal.  That's my story and I'm sticking with it.  Or to it.  Or ish.  There's some weird italics happening in the Nook version -- thanks to  theniwokesoftly for spotting it -- but I was already feeling like I'd delayed telling you so here we go.

THE FIRE'S STONE was my third book. I sold it at the same time as I sold BLOOD PRICE and wrote it first.  I'm pretty sure it was nominated for a Lambda award.  I know it didn't win.  I have one of the rejected oil sketches Richard Hescox did for the original DAW cover up on my wall.  I hadn't read it for years but you know what?  I still really like it.

And no, Joey and Alex, I'm sorry but there will not be a sequel.

"A wizard, a drunkard, and a thief - three strangers who must learn to work together or Ischia is lost beneath a sea of lava. But Aaron, the thief, is hiding more than stolen jewels. Chandra, the wizard, is running from a political marriage. And Darvish, the prince Chandra is intended to marry and the man Aaron has hidden the most from, well, Darvish really needs a drink. Before they can hope to save Ischia, they must save themselves."
