Eight Days - Day two

I can't decide if I find the story of the tweenbots adorable or hopeful or adorably hopeful, but I do know it makes me happy.

The full story of the tweenbots is here.

I'd read about the tweenbots, but I hadn't seen a video. This is a wonderfulness.

It looked like the woman in the black tights, who turned it around, barely stopped herself from patting it on the head.

Me, I'd have been following the tweenbot all the way to its destination to make sure it got there.

There was, apparently a gentleman who turned it saying, "You don't want to go that way, there's traffic." *g*

I take it the flag had a some info on it to let folks know where it was trying to get to? What a charming little video. Simple stuff like this makes me hopeful for our spieces.

I love this meme. I don't think I've ever done one but I'm thinking I might do this one.

Yes, the flag had something along the lines of trying to get from A to B on it. At the website, there's a map. It looks a bit like one of those Family Circus maps. *g*

Kind of restores your faith in mankind, doesn't it? (Well, a little anyhow.) I loved how many people were so gentle, treating the tweenbot as if it were a child to be almost lovingly helped along.
Thanks for passing on the smile. :)

On website she says she expected the tweenbots to have a short violent life, given it was NYC and all, but everyone of them survived to get to their destinations. Which is pretty cool.

And you're welcome!

While I agree that it's unbelievably cute and sweet, I have to wonder why it wasn't reported as a bomb threat.

While it would never have occured to me, that's a good question given it was Central Park... Maybe because it was moving?

I would think that would be more of a reason to.

Given its size, moving parts wouldn't have left room for much of anything else.

Also, bombs don't tend to move. Until the first one does...
