So, it's almost time for Polaris -- the convention previously known as  Toronto Trek and TT!

For those who care, this is my very probably final schedual for the upcoming weekend:

Friday 7 p.m., Minimum 400 Pages, Hamilton
Friday 8:30 p.m., Blast Off Party, Terrace
Saturday, 11 a.m., Smart Answers for Creative Souls , Room 2238
Saturday, 1:30, Press ( Read more... )

Have a wonderful time.

I'm relieved not to be traveling this weekend, or so I tell myself to counteract my disappointment that I won't be seeing my friends who will be at the convention.

I wish I could be there without travelling! I hate negotiating the 401 through Toronto.

I hope to catch some of what you're doing. Is "Smart Answers" to be read straight or interpreted as "Smart-a** Answers"? :-)

Skipping Friday. I'll be on filk-related panels Saturday at 3 & 9 with a guitar (plus open); Sunday 12 and 3, probably just nattering.

I'm fairly certain it'll devolve to smart-a** answers... panels I'm on usually do. *g*

I'm really hoping to get to some filk programing.

Shall I look for you in the bar after set-up but before opening on Friday?

Wait... there are other things at conventions? Are you sure?

Pretty sure. *g*

I keep forgetting to ask, is this something new or were planning to go when I saw you at Keycon?

Um, we've wanted to go for a long time, but were only recently sure we'd have enough air miles to cover the trip. It'll be our first "grown-up" trip in years. Which, of course, enables us to frolic and play like the five-year-old we're leaving at home.
