Life is full of suprises, no? Sometimes the things that we fight, strive, and suffer for never seem to amount to what we had initially expected. I can't say I completely understand your ordeal in it's entirity, simply because I'm young and never fully been to where you are at this facet of life. But I know this- you can't live your life for somebody else, and sometimes all you've got is you. That should, despite how guilty it may make you feel, be your top priority. I don't always see you doing this. I know you're a giver, and it may be what you think makes you happy. But when you give so much for somebody else, sometimes you lose just what it is that brings you contentment. I've learned this lesson a time or two, and whether I've grown from it or not is still up for debate. But I know I've at least learned how to recognize it, and sometimes that's a great leap into changing
