In memoriam: Lisa Schmidt, lourdesmont

My friend Lisa Schmidt passed away of pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, August 26, at one am. Her brother Jeff just called me to let me know. He says "thank you" to her other internet friends for all of your love and support of Lisa, and that, in the end, all of her life will come down to the memories and love she leaves behind, that this is her

In even more strange synchronicity, today I got my copy of Anne Fraser's book, Gideon Redoak. I nearly lost it when I opened the package.

Oh, she was an angel with grumpy tendencies, all right. I loved her ever since she welcomed my first tentative forays onto Ghostletters. She was so generous and helpful to everyone, always.
