Lena won the Eurovision Song Contest! I never would have thought that would happen. At first I thought her performance wasn't the best she ever did. But apparently I was the only one. This is great!

Since I normally don't have any because I never do it anyway, I proudly present
My New Year Resolutions:

1. lose weight (the 3 kg I got because I was eating all the yummy christmas things all december)
2. find a job!!! (It's 10 month since I graduated and I still don't have anything.)
3. try to live your life more

It's a little funny that in the last years I wasn't in a great christmas spirit, even so I didn't have nearly as much problems as this year. But this year I couldn't wait for everything that has to do with it. Too bad that the big family christmas dinner at my grandparents won't be happening this year.

I have problems with my back and because of this I sometimes hear a highpitched tone like a tinnitus in my ear. It's mostly at night because when I lie down the muscles relax and then it can happen. Or at least that's what I think. I have a halfbrother. He is 12 years older than me. We never had much contact besides through our father. We 1-2 times a year, mostly on christmas at my fathers. Got Stargate Atlantis Season 1 and Farscape Season 4 for my birthday. Yeah! Now I can have my McKay and Sheppard whenever I want. And since in German tv the series is translated, it was the first time I watched it in the english language. Becket's accent is to die for. It's funny. The surgery went alright and the possible nerve damage they were afraid about didn't happen. She can move her fingers. Thank God! She has her arm in a sling and mustn't use it for 6 weeks. She has a hole in her nose where her glasses ripped a bit flesh out. They say it has to heal from alone because it can't be stitched. All in all she was lucky. ( Read more... )

My mother called a few hours ago. Said she tripped, has fallen down and they're taking her to the hospital, her arm hurt and she is calling me again from the hospital.
