Hiya. I know my posting frequency has been way down these past few months, but at least since SPN premiered, I'd been doing a decent job of posting episode reactions. Not so these past couple of weeks. The reason for that is I moved and was without internet until a couple of days ago. I'm still without television. But I'm practically used to

As to SPN, I have to say I enjoyed The Mentalists a lot as a stand alone, but found Tf aW excruciating for exactly the reasons you outline here. The actress playing Becky has always been nails down a blackboard for me. Just too exaggerated and cartoon-like to ever invest emotionally in.
Any other female, and we could have had some fun with this epsiode. As it is, it's worth rewatching for Dean in a sweater vest, Dean giving the waffle iron, and the tag where they SMILED at each other throughout.

Save up your pennies, hon. There's a lot of shopping here, both where I live and elsewhere. You can do some damage. I intend to return the favor when I meet you in Istanbul. ;-)

And as for SPN, must say I agree with you. I must say that I have been happy that they have at least continued to touch on Sam's problems but I hate that they make him look weak when like you said he is dealing quite well. A balance between the brothers would be nice and I hope the show allows for Sam to actually help his brother. :)

(I did get him to give me some suggestions for 'things to do on a weekend in Dubai' if you would still be interested. (you did say that you might have a weekend there sometime). He also likes the temperatures at this time of year.
Sorry, completely unable to comment on SN, as I am a One Fandom gal and my fandom heart is fully occupied by a certain Mr Doyle!

The new place looks wonderful. I'm sure the three of you will be very happy there. I mean, given the option of that view, why continue to live in a compound, particularly as you're probably nearer restaurants, cinemas and the like now too.

I actually really liked my compound. There was a sense of community there. People were friendly and welcoming, particularly of Oliver. He was a great favorite of all the kids.
But I would never be able to afford to live like this in the U.S., so I figure I should try and take advantage of it. It's fun! And the city view at night is to die for. :-)
