Help of a Different Kind. Please.

I've had a good fannish week.  In addition to the extraordinary support for Redemption, my vid, Not as We picked up three Driver Picks the Music awards--Wolfpup's Choice, Best Angst and Best POV.  Thanks to both Brighette and Wolfpup for being generous and kind.

Today, though, I fear the universe may have decided to even things out for me some.

Oh, geez, An, I'm so sorry to hear Milo's ill. I hope things turn a corner for him and he's fine. I know that vet bills can be expensive and those emergency vets are necessary but expensive. I've used them before. Best wishes with his health.

Thanks, Kat. Yeah, those danged vets are expensive. I'd been spoiled, seeing as my sis is in the business. If she could have brought her office with her, it would have been less expensive to fly her out for a visit than what I've spent. And it ain't over yet.

Poor little guy - I've been very lucky with my cats (fingers crossed). Sending positive thoughts to use and Mr. Milo.

Thanks, hon. The first cat I ever got had a congenital heart problem that killed him young. But that's the only time that happened. Milo is still nearly a kitten. It just kills me.
