I've had a good fannish week.  In addition to the extraordinary support for Redemption, my vid, Not as We picked up three Driver Picks the Music awards--Wolfpup's Choice, Best Angst and Best POV.  Thanks to both Brighette and Wolfpup for being generous and kind.

I heard this song on the radio back in early fall, while driving to work.  I fell in love with it immediately.  I hadn't heard Florence and the Machine before.  To me, their sound is reminiscent of Kate Bush, with her over-the-top emotion and theatricality.  That kind of thing blends nicely with my own sometimes over-the-top emotion and ( Read more... )

Yikes.  So, despite my best efforts, I'm once again playing a fannish game of Beat the Clock.  My SPN Xmas Exchange Fic is due no later than December 28th.  At this point, I've written more than 23,000 words.  I may have 10,000 more to go. My sis pulled out about 45 minutes ago on the Super Shuttle, heading home to Chicago. We had a great time while she was here, and I'll really miss her now that she's gone.
