Thought perhaps I should make mention of the fact that my vid links have changed. Streamload, which I've really liked up 'til now, has "upgraded" their service (which means, I think, that they've been bought). This means I need not only to make folks aware of links, but also that the reports I used to be able to get (how many MB downloaded, how many hits each file had) don't seem to be available (if I'm wrong about that, fellow Streamload users, please tell me). That kind of thing always frustrates the hell out of me. I was completely happy with the service, no complaints whatsoever, and then they give me something I really didn't want, all in the name of progress.
*sigh*
Oh well. Stiff upper lip and all that.
Myst at the Trip and T'Pol shipper site has been kind enough to adjust all Enterprise links for me, anyone curious about Ent vids (
http://triptpolers.houseoftucker.com/) shouldn't have any problem. My two Pros vids can be found at:
Cannonball by Damien Rice (zipped file)
http://www.mediamax.com/ancasta/Hosted/CannonballRev.zip Hazy Shade of Winter by The Bangles
http://www.mediamax.com/ancasta/Hosted/HazyShadeFinal.wmv As I've been monitoring the Vidding live journal community, I've gradually become more adventurous, checking out vids from fandoms in which I'm not active. Saw a really lovely one last night for Dr. Who, which can be found here:
http://community.livejournal.com/days_of_dreams/3792.html Dr. Who vids have been popping up everywhere which, given what I now know of the season's storyline, makes perfect sense. This vid was so good it made me want to watch the show--and I've never had any interest in Dr. Who before. Kudos to the vidder! That's a job well done.
On the fic front, I'm about 10K into my first Pros fic. I've never really written slash before, so this should be interesting. It's an AU set in a POW camp in WWII. Given the speed at which I write, it will probably be a good long while before this is ready to be shared. Still, it's bound to pop up here eventually. Stay tuned.
