After much searching, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, I finally found a job!  My friend Steven, from my D&D group, talked to his mom, and after a couple of weeks of waiting, she finally hired me!  It's at a gas station, and I'll probably end up screaming about how much I hate the place inside of a month, but right now, I'm really effing excited!  ( Read more... )

Not sure what's really going on with me at the moment, but I feel rather blank and empty.  I suppose it's normal, after dealing with enough stress, but who knows?

Well, apparently I've somehow offended the Powers that Be, because life is just refusing to cooperate.

You see, I've been trying to find a job for ages now, but nothing seems to be panning out.  Well, there's one place, but it's far away, and even if I do get hired there, I won't actually start training until sometime in September.

Good freakin' God!  I've got a bloody hurricane trying to go on outside, and boy, is it freaking me out!  It just had to show up right after Katrina's anniversary, didn't it? >_< Anyway, I just thought I'd vent and get that out there.
