Mooching is bad.

Is anyone hiring? I have no useful job skills and I've never been non-self-employed before. Honesty is the best policy.

More importantly, does anyone out there play an instrument? Vocalists? Managers?

Because I'm cursorily interested in seeing if it would be possible to start up a band here. That way I don't have to hold a job

financial independence, gainful employment, something fishy happening here, this situation is confusing and alien, not a panic situation yet, underwhelmed, as nature made him, dingoes ate my baby, mooching is bad

Uh.

Trumpet, piano, french horn, sax, trombone, some tuba, enough flute for me to hate it, and the kazoo.

I've never met a kazoo player before.

Well, it's a rare sort of instrument, really. Mostly trumpet, though.

Ever been in a band? Like a brass band?

What part of holding a job here requires forever?

I meant a very relative forever in my case. Forever being representative of, if I'm being fair, probably no more than six months.

Do your bands last more than six months?

I've been in it since I was fourteen. I'm now eighteen. So that's about forty-eight months. Give or take.

Only in my dreams. Actually, that's a lie. I play the tuba but I'd rather play bass.

Is your band any good?

Do you want to learn?

We're okay.

Yes. My mother never let me, of course that was back before --

Hey. Maybe you could teach people? I'm pretty sure they consider that a job.

I could teach you. But I wouldn't make someone pay me for sharing the art and enjoyment of making music.

I'd offer to guide you into the marvelous world of construction work but. I know you.

ananticlimax June 11 2009, 00:22:15 UTC
Construction has to be done on a schedule. I don't really do schedules.

I can't really see you in a hardhat either.

You're right. It would give me hat hair.

Mooching is kind of understandable when you've just crash landed in a new dimension. Just saying.

ananticlimax June 11 2009, 01:11:20 UTC
I can pay you back.

1inageneration June 11 2009, 02:55:07 UTC
You don't have to.

ananticlimax June 11 2009, 03:00:18 UTC
I have to.
