I'm so tired of bars. I think working in one really takes the joy out of going to one. Sometimes it is really awesome to be having a nice time with a couple good friends, going to a bar, having some drinks, and going on to something else, but when "going to the bar" is the only part about your night, it gets sucky and weird. I hate socializing at bars. I hate being in large, floaty groups. I hate making small talk when you can barely hear the other person.
Give me 5 friends, a couple rounds of drinks, some bathroom drugs, and a cab ride somewhere else.

Bars are crazy expensive. I'm definitely with you, un that I need to stop drinking as well and I somehow feel abandoned when I wake up alone. Focus on you, things will fall into place.
