I'd thought I was done with flaily kitchen adventures for my life. Like, with the end of grad school, I figured I'd pretty much gotten cooking down well enough that i wouldn't have to, say, call my mother in a panic, asking her how to make a hamburger BECAUSE OMG THERE IS MEAT IN A PAN AND WHAT IF I AM DOING IT WRONG
