That's a really interesting article. Actually, it reminds me of linguistics (oddly enough) and how many of our innate senses of prepositional space work on a sliding scale, within a clearly defined spectrum. It seems to me that if some patterns of thinking work that way, it's not all that hard to take the logical leap that other patterns of thinking work that way too.
I like how in all your describing of the tournament, the one who might be going to state doesn't show up until the very end.
I hope the text was still applicable by the time it got to you.

aiyah. it was ridiculous. one of the girls was like "....wait, really?" and Annie looked at her and burst out laughing.
As a theory, it seemed to make a lot of sense.
I went chronologically (as i found out lol). it is my experience.
of course it was! not only because we were still at the tourney.
oh yes, i think i will be :(
