The stuff I've been reading about birth control in the US has been making me incredulous with rage. As some have pointed out, this is a slippery slope -- surely if birth control, preventing a pregnancy from occurring, is abortion then male masturbation must be also. I can't see the male politicians banning that any time soon.

It just drives me crazy that male politicians get to decide what's best for a woman and her own body. I'm not crazy about abortions by any means, but I'm 100% pro-choice. Religious fanaticism on this issue does my head in.

hell, any time a woman has a period could be 'abortion' because she had a chance to make a baby and didn't. The hell.
What really gets me is when health insurrance will cover things like viagra, but not birth control. Like viagra ever is a real medical necessity.

i think there's a big difference between being pro-choice and being pro-death-to-babies, and I'd like people to get them straight. And argh why would you want to make it hard to get birth control if you actually want fewer abortions?
