i have a mysterious bruise on my calf. judging from the color, it's 3 or 4 days old. where did it come from? i don't know. it doesn't hurt, i guess, so that's good enough.

National Museum of Language!?!?!?!?!! That sounds like the coolest thing ever, as long as it's done well. The placement in Baltimore makes me a little suspicious, but that's probably because most of my memories of Baltimore involve driving around the really sketchy parts of it late at night in a rented car after the symphony

i am led to believe that all of baltimore is sketchy all the time, and that the best you can hope for is only feeling vaguely threatened during the day in parts with only a few crack dealers.

i like spinach usually, in probably all its forms. though ok, canned/frozen i wouldn't eat by itself.
My first experience with spinach was this absolutely fucking delicious airplane meal (inorite? airplane meal + delicious in a non-negative sentence, who'd have thunk it! also, lately, hey, airplane + meal in a sentence? the hell?).

no, no. it's true. it was years and years ago now, and i didn't quite believe it myself at the time, but the whole meal was delicious. The meat like. melted in your mouth, and the spinach was good.
