The Nikki has arrived!

Entertain me please. :Dv

And yes, HaLf CaPs WrItInG is the most ridiculous thing ever. Which is why that is the first (and last) time I've ever attempted it.

I suppose they are called witches sometimes, though i probably would have classified them as hermits.

That's true. It's just that. This is a japanese pop fandom. JIN AND PLAYED SHIRITORI IN THE CAR IN ONE OF THE OKINAWA EPISODES OF CARTOON KAT-TUN YO. every good kat-tun fan, at the very least, should have exposure.

Would making the time frame shorter help, though?

If you click through the related videos, you can probably get a performance version, which would a) have the words at the bottom of the screen and b) probably be longer--this matters because there's more english later.
Her English is good because she grew up at least partially in the states. She went to Columbia for a while, i think, as well, but i think she dropped to do the popstar in japan thing.
awww. I love junpei's hair. it's much better than his ogiwara hair.
red string of fate strikes again!

!!! I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE RYO'S CLOTHING IN THE INTRO. not at all. wow. SUCH A GOOD POINT!! I kept getting caught on yo ruka wraps michiru up in the white sheet, and leans ( ... )

It's because you're famous. We're your adoring public.

What got worse?

I didn't say they were called witches rightly. Oh well. Granny Weatherwax claims she leaves magic to the wizards because they deserve it. She's as witchy as they come.

OH!!!! I remember that!!!! Now that you mention it, I have seen it; I just didn't know or forgot what it was called.
...and yes, you fail BIG TIME, but I forgive you, because I love you.

Well, if you wanted to get a quick feel for if this will work, then yes I think 3 days will help. Plus, if you frame it as something that they can just blast off in a couple days, just as a test, then I think it would work.
Or you could just make it a 2 or 3 person chain and give everyone a week stil. You'll still know relatively quickly I suppose. But lowering the word count would definitely be a good idea still. Since it is just a test. This could be really, really cracky. Good times!

Hmm, now I'll have to really concentrate on the song and its English.
AHA!!! Now I remember why I think of him as Junpei. Kimi wa Petto. I don't know about the hair. It's still pretty ( ... )

That's true, she is. But she does get witchy benefits too, like that thing with time.
Just remember, "Good fences make good neighbours."

Isn't the minimum, um. 600 words? but i don't really have a problem with lowering it. hmmm.
The only reason I don't want to do 3 day rounds is because i know that i don't have that much time in the next three days.
I hope that it turns into a lot of fun.

I'm so sorry! I meant to say that he was from kimi wa petto, but apparently i forgot to say that too. Wow. i'm doing really well tonight.

No, it doesn't look sexual, but it looks close and comfortable and soothing. I vaguely remember therelic once telling me how shoujo ai was often portrayed in Japanese media, and i feel like that kind of thing might be nice to get a refresher on.
It probably wouldn't. Not that much happened in the first ep in terms of their relationship, though a person in a coma could probably spot the unrequited love ruka has for michiru. Actually, i think i'm interpreting a lot of this drama based on the intro in terms of what's ( ... )

i would not ask anyone to write anything 1000 words in a week. I'm not sure i'd require anyone to write 1000 words ever, especially not if i were calling it 'not very stressful'
good point! i will put that in when i make up the test run sign-up.

i mean. i don't think i could write in the next week, probably 2.
you're a lovely, lovely person.

shoujo = girl (well, technically a young girl, but it's not really used that exactly, i don't think)
ai = love
shounen ai = boylove.
shoujo ai = girllove.

ruka is the girl with the short hair.
michiru is the girl who got the 'love' label.
ryo is sousuke
junpei is is takeru
and i can't remember the last one's name.

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. talking to you took more of my attention.

You're so cute. I think that upper limits are more stressful than lower limits sometimes. I can almost guarantee that whatever limit you set, I'll be over by a bunch.

Just because you have ridiculous amounts of schoolwork to do, I really don't see why you don't have enough time to devote to fandom. *pets for encouragement*
I'm just hopelessly M. I try to force my help on others so I don't feel guilty about them doing all the work. *rolls eyes at self* But I also like to help. Is that indicative of M or just a personality trait?

arigatou for all that lovely explanation; now (I say somewhat warily) I understand

heiki heiki. I'm just a glutton for talking with you, so as long as you're distracted by me, I'm ok. :Dv

you would think that. but there's no upper limit--just a time limit. turn in the fic when it's due, and no later.

i'm really a very bad fan.
i think it's your ISJF-ness. which may sometimes translate to M.

it was almost a chart. That's why the coding assignment in debbie's class last year was my favourite. I'd written in bullet points. short ones.

Great article. My favorite part as of yet?
"Damon: The most significant thing about writers is that writers hate to write, so we'll find any excuse not to write. We'll talk about Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, the weather.
Tim: Why did Hitler invade Russia?
Damon: Yeah, we could have that conversation for half an hour, just to stop us writing a script."
These boys are brilliant.

And now I might need to go and nap, because I got about 3-3.5 hours of sleep last night, which is no good whatsoever.

Why is it that even when I start with tiny comments, they seem to get long and involved anyway? This is so patently unfair.

you are naturally verbose. what can i say.

you're such a wuss about sleep (or rather, lack thereof). especially for SOMEONE WHO SLEEPS AS LITTLE AS YOU DO. :\\\

I think you just said it.

I are not! Tell me you wouldn't want to whine if you only got 3.5 hours of sleep? And it's my parents' fault for going out of town and making me drive the Seminary run. Up at 4:30 AM does not help at all.
