it's exciting that the one your lang partner photocopied for you happened to be your grade level. i hope it's not 2nd grade....but you would be such a cute second grader!

it was tasty ♥ it's also really not difficult. This time I only flailed through about half the process, which is half less than usual :D

we will see if he comes around again. In which case, yes. I am going to try to swing free lessons. because i cannot hulahoop to save my life and it's kind of embarrassing.

itsuka uchi ni kite, tsukutte ageru yo ♥ bi-ru mo katte ageru kara ne.

they're not really all that exciting. It's all about the attitude. I mean, i've probably got a 5th or 6th grade reader. Should this be exciting? No, probably not. But i like it anyway because i'm a dork. ^^;

Okonomiyaki! I must admit that despite your numerous attempts to educate me about it, I really didn't get the whole concept of it until I watched Hanakimi. And suddenly it all makes sense and I really want to make some. At some point ( ... )

there's a photographic 'how to' somewhere on this journal. though stillesprite tells me i didn't quite manage the sengiri, i have confidence in your ability to slice things finer ( ... )

I remember you posting that how-to, and it looked like fun, but I still needed the interactiveness of an okonomiyaki restaurant to really get the concept. And now I will use your how-to (someday) and make Moose eat it. He's my go-to guy for trying out Japanese food ( ... )

tell me how it goes ne.

kjl;agl he just. idk. rubbed the wrong way. by existing. this is the boy who sent me panicked emails via facebook because jamie didn't answer her phone...for a whole hour. I was like "um. She's probably sleeping." (she was). of my friends' boyfriends, the ones i didn't like unreasonably all turned out not to be keepers, so. i guess i should learn to go with this.
On the other hand, i only ever seem to fall for gay guys. or ones in serious long term relationships. but mostly they're gay.

you don't exactly have the world's strongest lungs, but. I will take the sympathizing for what it is: sincere.
Um. i'm a little bit confused because smartrip cardholders get discounts on the bus and with transfers if they use teh card. But bus prices went up 10 cents, without the card, so i think it's not 1.35 by cash (still 1.25 by smartrip). And the trains are now 1.65 at the lowest for everyone.
I just. I mean. They just don't encourage the use of public transit at all and their occassional feeble attempts to plug it just ( ... )

I want to eat okonomiyaki, mostly because it's so fun to say, but there is a swedish potato dish that is somewhat like it that I don't like at all.

I hula hoop to the extent that I eat the crispy snacks. >.> I don't do the physical activity version.

it would be fun if language knowledge could be counted in age. but I'm unfortunately stuck at 'tourist' in the languages I learned in school. :/ BUT KIDS BOOKS ARE SO MUCH FUN. :DDD

what is it about this swedish potato dish that you don't like? maybe okonomiyaki doesn't have it. recipe?

;jklagjl;kfalkj there is a snack called hula hoop? kjagljkfa that's exciting.

i'm stuck at 'bumbling idiot american' for spanish, so you're better off than I am.
I <3 kids books.

um... it's basically grated potatoes with egg-milk-flour batter. blerg :P

totally. my favourite british snack. and the largest bodypart they fit on are the fingers :P

I can't stop listening to this song

that sounds. incredibly tasteless. okonomiyaki doesn't normally have potatoes? and you put other things in?

truly, the british deserved their empire!

that song is quite addicting. despite the title.
♥s you.
