Having taken a good 3 hour nap late yesterday afternoon, I didn't go to bed until 4 or so.
And didn't get up until a little after 12.

Spent the morningafternoon proofreading Krizstina's thesis. I did the first half and aliza did the second. It's on identity construction and narrative. interesting stuff ( Read more... )

naps are love...possibly even worth lurving over, even if you don't like the way you feel afterwards

last day of classes: the time for wistful sighs and wondering why you ever prayed it would end soon, because it just means that you have all these other things to do

I'm sure you did great on Aliza's bangs, especially for the price. I cut my mom's hair (all of it - not just bangs) before she went to CA for Nana's funeral. It was a nervewracking experience.

you can like them if you want. I'll continue disliking them but never seeming to learn my lesson.

you should always cut someone else's hair right before important social functions. it's so easy on the nerves.
