Sushi = comfort food
Having taken a good 3 hour nap late yesterday afternoon, I didn't go to bed until 4 or so.
And didn't get up until a little after 12.
Spent the morningafternoon proofreading Krizstina's thesis. I did the first half and aliza did the second. It's on identity construction and narrative. interesting stuff.
Then I went to church, but ainiku missed my bus. It pulled away from the curb literally as I reached it. bastards. Well, I suppose they have a schedule to keep. I must have set my clock a minute off from when the power went out a couple nights ago.
So I had to wait and catch the next one.
Late for church.
Figured I wouldn't be participating in any of the up-coming announcements' activities as I'll be leaving town for the summer, so I skipped out before the announcments.
Consequently caught that bus in Dupont I always miss, and got home probably around 7:30.
Went to Benihana's and had sushi to celebrate.
Ran into Dijana on the way home, but couldn't stop too long to chat.
"an autobiography composed from years and memories" it's just a pretty something that's sticking in my head. I've got nothing and no reason to ever use it. I just wish I did.
Watched the end of Stand Up!! ep 7 with Aliza,
finished my japanese homework from last wednesday.
cut Aliza's bangs. ...no comment.
started the Business Japanese final I wanted to hve finished by monday. It is, unsuprisingly, not finished.
it was either business Japanese or morphology I planned to do over the weekend. Using my usual methods of deciding things (coin toss), I picked morphology. But I couldn't seem to motivate myself to start it. So today I decided to try the japanese one--the translations would make me feel like I was getting something done, at least, so I'd be more motivated to actually do it.
Tomorrow: last day of classes. All Japanese.
It's kind of nice to be ending my undergraduate experience the way I started it.
