What am I reading now? Well, I never got into Buffy the Vampire Slayer myself. I know many people who are quite manic about it, but me -- meh. I'm a bit grouchy atm because I realized after reading your post, if I get called to active status for this hurricane, I won't have anything to read.

Anyway, yeah, I'm totally amped. I just wonder how well the show will hold up to my scrutiny -- after digesting 1800+ pages of this stuff, I've got pretty good pictures in my head already. So far as I've heard, though, the author is working with the director rather closely.
