How am I supposed to work on this fucking project when at the same time I have to battle the voices that tell me I can't do this?

My energy is divided, and it needs to be all on this. I have two days left.

you can do it man-! you can do it. you've lived with those fucking voices your entire life & i think you've about got their measure by now.

& when you've done it, those voices will have to shut up.

you're motivated, determined, & brilliant. the nuts & bolts of this are child's play to you. put the voices in hell for a change. it's time for them to hurt for a time instead of you. you're closing in on their little space & they don't like you being happy - so fuck 'em.

i've got confidence in you. you can do this, John. you will do this. & when you are finished, the doing of it will belong to you - a weapon to use against those demons when they return.
