How truly bizarre! old_cutter_john October 23 2008, 20:36:23 UTC
It says, "You belong in Brooklyn. Down to earth and hard working, you're a true New Yorker. And although you may be turning into a yuppie, you never forget your roots."

By definition, I'm too old to be a yuppie, but I'm down to earth, and I work hard, even as a degenerate. What's strangest is that I was actually born in Brooklyn. I doubt that I belong there, though: the language grates on me.

Not surprising to me. Of course the questions were designed to find out where in New York you fit in best. Try reading that as "Of all the possible places you could live in New York, you belong in Brooklyn." We'd be just a train ride apart! Yay!

If it has to be Brooklyn, it ought to be along the Road to Lott's House or the Lane to Tyler Davis. If they're still there, and if they're still called that.

Not being from Brooklyn myself, I had to google those -- looks like the second one has been obliterated and the first one is now part of the grounds of a church. (http://www.forgotten-ny.com/Alleys/Canarsie%20lanes/canarsie.html) What wonderful names those are!
