I wish he had a brother.

Everyone needs a Paul.

I liked the Paul part, but I especially liked the part about being a mother, whether you have biological children or not.

I am a mother to my cats, as odd as that might sound.

I am a mother to my brothers and sisters - the youngest called me mommy first.

I am a mother to the kids I work for, because despite all their problems and bad behaviors and issues they are worth fighting for, they deserve to have someone in their life who is willing to fight for them and with them.

As much as they'll allow it, I can be a mother to my friends, sharing that Mother-Spirit that you talked about so eloquently.

And regardless of whether or not we can't or won't reproduce biological children, regardless of our vocations, we are all embraced by the Mothering Spirit of God, or Goddess... and can find our true selves in the grace She offers.

*big breath* Thank you... for so much, Belle.

Belle and Paul, you two sooooo deserve each other. It's wonderful that you have found each other.

Happy Mothering Day to you both, and to everyone who has the (a)vocation.

Yay Paul! Yay marriage to your soul mate! Yay for happiness that allows us to cope with others who's unhappiness makes them hard to be around.

And yay for the eternal yes that is the mothering spirit.
