My father took me to England and Scotland for my 16th birthday, and I had to get a passport photo taken. I was cleaning out my desk drawer this morning, and found that old passport.

This is me! What a hoot!

For some reason, I'm feeling very Christmassy tonight. Could it be the 5,000 tiny, multicolored lights the SO has strung across the ceilings throughout the house? Today is the 15th anniversary of the massacre at l'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, December 6, 1989.

A gunman, screaming "I hate feminists! You're all feminists!" burst into several classrooms and shot 27 students. Fourteen of them, all young women, died.

They should be remembered. They were:
