Only if you are interested in the Hunger Games trilogy. Very good, though now you are hugely spoiled : /

Remember how you worried that this series would inevitably turn into a we-must-takedown-the-authoritarian-government series? And I told you it kinda would but kinda wouldn't? Now you see what I mean. In a sense, it is still very much a young person's journey/coming of age story. We see the fire from which Katniss Everdeen is forged into the woman she will become. But at the same time, you grow to hate the Capitol so much, you see why it is necessary for Collins to take them down.

At the same time, though, I feel like Collins went a little too anti-war manifesto for a YA novel. Still, there were two deaths which upset me the most in the entire series, and they both occurred towards the end of Mockingjay. One was Finnick, and the other is...well, you'll see.

Poor Annie!

THE ENDING IS PERFECT, ACTUALLY. I need to re-read because I was scared the whole time and atm I feel like she rushed past too much stuff but I was v.v. pleased by what actually happened (i.e. who Katniss shot and the resolution to the love triangle)

p.s. OH GOD YOUR ICON
