I just watched Moon and am now terribly depressed. Not that it was bad--I enjoyed it, even though I was horribly spoiled (they lied! They said it wasn't a big spoiler but it was the entire point of the movie wtf)--it was just not cheerful. And I am torn about the ending. Because yes, there's hope, but logistically it doesn't seem like there should. He gets in the shuttle, which probably has a pre-programmed flight path to take him right back to the company's shipyard, and they would never let him live. And even if that weren't the case, the chances of him finding another place to land, not getting shot out of the sky, finding people who believe him . . . maybe I'm just a cynic ; )
Definitely beautiful! It was amazing how much they did with such limited sets.

Hmm, a sequel would be interesting. I wonder if the original knows what went on? And even if he did, that underground chamber is seriously creepy.
