*grin* Bridesmaid #1 and Bridesmaid #2... I LOL'd. It's so true that sometimes the injection of unimportant, never-recurring OCs seems trite... like, why name them? But then numbering them seems so... well, er, flat? Even if this is just a draft and you'll have names later, I thought it was a subtle way of dealing with that (which may or may not be frustrating to you; it is to me; I overdo any detail ( ... )

Yup, the bridesmaids - Arisa has to have them, but they're not at all vital to the story. Such a pain... I've played with the idea of doing a much more introspective scene so I wouldn't need to mention their names, but right now I'm really not sure.

I agree about the relationship-label. I'm usually the skittish ones in my relationships, but sometimes knowing exactly where it stands can be nice. Since Seto's so private, I can see him taking a somewhat passive stance. He doesn't need to define to himself, so he certainly doesn't need to define it to anyone else.

Getting Seto to admit his feelings is always a sticky situation - I'll sometimes cop out and either write from Anzu's point of view or have them already in an established relationship.

Sorry you've been stuck on WDKY26. I'd absolutely love to read the scenes you've got so far. Are you going to post them just to your journal? And hopefully whatever's kept you stuck will get resolved soon!

You nailed Seto right on the head: why should he have to define himself or any relationship INVOLVING him to anyone? He just doesn't realize that others might want that definition to be involved with him, and for reasons beyond selfishness or idiocy. :P

As for WDKY26, I posted all the scenes I have to my LJ-- you should be able to see them now. Let me know if you check any of them out and have any commentary on them; I'd appreciate a fellow writer's feedback! :)
