-I haven't posted anything in a while. I've just been too tired all the time - the travelling out of city for my new job training is really getting to me. Only another week to go, though and I'll be back in Birmingham. Can't wait! New job is going well though I'm scared of making mistakes, LOL.

Ooh-the banner is lovely. There is something really intriguing about the way Buffy is holding her collar in the one image. I look forward to seeing the fic that goes with it.

I'm glad they went older with Katniss, too. I don't think the appearance is nearly as important as the fact that Katniss is a very complicated and violent role. I'd actually rather see an actress with more maturity play her. (Plus, how often are teenagers actually played by teenagers anyway? :P) I do wish that the original casting call hadn't had the word "Caucasian" in it, but Suzanne Collins helped pick her. If the author is happy, who can really argue?

You should definitely read THG. I'd seen a lot of people in the fandom campaigning for Hailee Steinfeld, and whilst I think she did look like Katniss, she's very young. I'm glad they went older.
