Well, the peace corps may just let me go after all! Two weeks ago, I found out that I have been offered a position to teach English for two years in Azerbaijan! I'm super pumped. The future?
I am currently contemplating not staying in Louisiana this summer. I think I may move up to Seattle, away from my dear Lafayette. I don't like the idea of fate that goes along with going home. Maybe I'm just being stubborn and ignoring what the "signs in the sky" tell me. But right now, I cannot accept that some things will move beyond my ( Read more... ) -

Spring break is over. Thesis is looming. One thesis interview left, and two chapters left. I may actually live. -
Thesis Thursday
I finished the second chapter of my thesis. Yay! Unfortunately, today it shall be ripped apart in senior seminar (only in the most loving way). I can handle the comments and criticisms, just I'd rather it be wonderous the first time -- which we all know is not true. But I'm up to 50 pages. I'm thinking it'll be close to 100 when I'm done. Could this be the last time
I'm in California again, for my last semester. Kind of weird when I think about it. But all things must come to an end eventually. I like my classes. I have much to sort through, but I can do it. -
Get off of my cloud
Oi, I'm having dreams again. I normally don't enjoy the whole process of dreaming. It's just a little too weird. But lately my dreams haven't been so unusual. I'm leaving Louisiana again very soon, tomorrow. I have mixed feelings about leaving. The main one is that I hate packing so much. Home at last
Yay for being home. It was nice to fly over Lafayette, recognizing all that I survey. I love the humidity. I love the flatness. I love the food. I love my family. I do miss my California friends, but such is life. You always will miss someone. And of course, I miss you.
