I've also started this post a few times in my head, but never got around to writing it. And props to me for finally critiquing the season 3 weeks into the writer's strike, when endless repeats are looming

Cruise of Deception and Jack and Jen as Romeo and Juliet and then the seashell ring! Squee! I'm still going back one a year or so for Sami and Lucas, but you knew that. ;)
I'm totally done with Heroes. Can't manage to care anymore, Journeyman lost me on night one, and Chuck never captured me.
I'm still loving Booth and the Squint Squad. House I'm bored with again, but given I was watching for the interns, that's not a shock.
CSI:NY is still in my maybes as it's being bumped in favor of Project Runway and I adore Pushing Daisies thus far.
I liked the CSI/WaT cross over because I prefer WaT but not in love with either of them, I'd prefer to watch Wednesday night's Criminal Minds instead. It's kinda crap but they have some good characters.
Still loving Torchwood but I'm out of sync with the rest of the watching public and should get caught back up.
Movie wise, I just saw American Gangster last week and am looking forward to August Rush this week but otherwise nothing.
However, this is definitely the time to back away again. {kicks Days writers and their fascination with Sami/EJ}
I've heard that. Sami/Elvis? Seriously fucked up. All the other couples get a brief breather, Sami and Lucas should too.
I... had a really mixed reaction to American Gangster, for personal reasons, but if I hadn't had that added prospective, I would say it was quite a good mob flick. They chose an odd ending shot, but not bad, and worth the PPV pricing.
Yay Torchwood...I am way behind you though, I am only on the fourth or fifth episode. Owen and Gwen just shagged...oh and Tosh shagged an alien...lots of shagging in this series LOL!
House is great this season...I am thinking of picking up Bones but I have to catch up. Writers strike might give me the time to do so.
PS- I didn't cry until the very end of CSI last week...christ! The episode was excellent, much better than boring crossover. I agree with your opinion on that one for sure.
I know! That's one of the reasons why I like it :)
I am thinking of picking up Bones but I have to catch up I have to warn you, that I don't think the first few eps of Bones are that good. Brennan comes off as very abrasive in the early eps, and I know a lot of people were turned off by it, me included. I don't know if she then grew on me, or if they turned her down a notch, because she's still the same type of person now - she's just not as annoying. But either way, Booth was enough to keep me watching :)
I know I will watch CSI eventually, and I'm sure it was a great ep. And I have no problem with watching the rest of the eps this season. I can understand why you're done with it - I've had lots of shows too that were just for a pairing (nevermind that GI Joe was all about Jaye and Flint) so I can see not having an interest anymore. I just have a mental block against watching the goodbye.
I just caught and episode of Bones and I actually quite liked it. Not one of the first, mind you. Please tell me this is not one of those 'you have to watch it in order from the beginning' type of things!
Let me know what you think when you finally catch that goodbye episode...
Ah yes, Flint and LJ...you know, every so often I still think of that pairing, such fond memories. You don't happen to have any news about what is happening to Flint in the comic, do you? Since LJs brutally written end I have pretty much dropped the whole thing.
Please tell me this is not one of those 'you have to watch it in order from the beginning' type of things!
No, I don't think so. It's a lot like CSI in that the episodes are pretty much stand alone, with a little bit of continuing character back story. Well I guess in that regard, it's better than CSI in telling what these people are like outside of the office. But in a couple of paragraphs I can give you a rundown of the background.

I haven't been following too closely since the WWIII arc started, and I haven't read the last two or three issues. He's a rehabilitated man - back to being a functioning member of the Joe team, although he hasn't really figured too prominently in the WWIII arc.
Heroes almost lost me, but the last couple of episodes have been better and I loved the first season so much that I'm refusing to give up just yet. I like Chuck too... mostly because watching Adam Baldwin just makes me happy.
I've really enjoyed Pushing Daisies. It's just so different from any other show on right now. And I'm with you on the CSI:NY Danny/Lindsay thing. I want more of them!!
I like Chuck too... mostly because watching Adam Baldwin just makes me happy.
I thought Adam Baldwin would be enough to get me to like Chuck, but it's not, which is a travesty.
And I'm with you on the CSI:NY Danny/Lindsay thing. I want more of them!!
I thought for sure they were going to go somewhere with the Halloween ep. They were alone in that house, she was scared, but no! And again, a couple of weeks ago when they were reenacting the struggle for the gun on the steps of that museum. There could have been so much more, but again no! Bah!
Did you watch Heroes from last night yet? I totally thought of you with everything going on with HRG. I won't say more, in case you haven't seen it yet. :-)
Ooooh, TV how I miss thee. I'm behind on all shows, but plan to catch up after Nano.
But: I do take breaks and still find Chuck one of my favorite new shows. Heroes - I'm behind on. Journeyman - while I liked it I dropped it from my viewing. Maybe if it hits the DVD's I may rent it and watch it but then again, maybe not. Bones - always rocks (but I'm behind). House - undecided. Bionic Woman - erm...want to really like it but something keeps me from must see. Moonlight is pretty good. SGA - you know my thoughts too. It's not the same without Elizabeth. It's hit or miss since "Lifeline" even though I'm anxiously awaiting "This Mortal Coil" even though I'm also not. :/
There will be Gizzie next seaosn of Grey's Anatomy? Wheeee! By the way... I need a spoiler! How did they "remove" Dr. Burke? I have a bet going on with a friend.
Hee! I wondered how I was going to reply to anonymous.
Anyway, from what I remember of the season premiere, it takes place a couple of weeks after the season finale. Most of the interns went on some kind of vacation, Christina included. She went back to work, and Burke was nowhere to be seen. She wondered for a while if he was avoiding her until McDreamy told her that Burke decided to resign from the hospital and move on while she was gone.
I think the next episode had Momma Burke return to speak to Christina about her son's reasonings, but I didn't see that ep.

I've heard so many good things about American Gangster, that it went from not on my radar to keeping an eye out for when it hits Pay-Per-View.

Edited to fix my typo.

Am I the only one who suddenly has to think of G.I. Joe by reading those ep titles?
