Wow. I...*wow*. I love how you've set this up, building up a subtle tension to find out what's going on and what will happen. It's a bittersweet tension, though, because of the tragedy that "spawned" it (can't think of a better word, sorry!). I...
that's really interesting! i wonder about the "crying girl"... Dom&Billy are great with their bickering and i love that Orladno can feel stuff. and you really won't turn it into a little Orlijah? :p
What a great first chapter. It sets the stage perfectly and is a great introduction to these characters. Very exciting. I love a good ghost story so can't wait to read more.
He believed what he’d told Dominic that the building would pose no threat. But it never hurt to be polite. Love this bit.
Thanks dear, I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it works as a set up for the second part and further parts in the series.
Aww...I'm glad someone picked up on that part I included it as a way to show how Orlando views these investigations and that he's not just there for the scares or whatever.
Sorry I haven't commented before, darlin'! I've had it bookmarked for ages, but kept getting busy or forgetting when I was able to be online.
Intriguing set up you have here, and the descriptions are fantastic. I love the three of them as the professional ghost hunters, and the dialogue between them is great.
Very mysterious and already suspenseful, looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
Awww...that's okay I know all about busy real-lives.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it since it is your fic... *g* I hope you're not too upset that it's not going to be a pairing type fic. But...you do get a whole series out of the deal instead of just a fic so...I think that makes up for it... ;-)
