I really like how Orlando was the one to act all professional and keep them focused on the task at hand. The stories that Mr KcKellan relates are enough to make anyone's creep get totally creeped out!

I wonder if this job is going to have an unexpected effect on our Orlando!

Thanks dear. I'm glad that he comes across that way because that's the way I'm trying to write him. He's very professional when it comes to the "ghost hunting" business he's set up with Dominic and Billy.

And I'm glad those stories were creepy because I had no idea if they'd work or not. I was just hoping that having it all thrown into one chapter wouldn't bore people. It's a necessary evil and somtimes I prefer to get the exposition out all in one chunk. And this isn't even everything I could have gone into I left the whole background of the paranormal group and Orlando on the wayside for now. There will be time enough later in the series to get to that. Hopefully the next part will make up for the chatty chatty aspect of this one.

But that chatty bit was necessary to set the stage for what comes next. Now the reader knows that Elijah wasn't just some drunken hooligan who fell through the floor and died in the building and will feel some empathy with Elijah's ghost and will want Orlando to find a way to give him peace.

Thanks dear. Can I ask what you mean by how I set it up?

Glad you enjoyed it and that you found it creepy and not boring with all the chatting going on.

I love the dialogue! I am a dialogue girl *g* You set the scene beautifully and I love how I feel like I'm inside the story when I read it! The characters jump out out of the screen and I love them! It's just amazing!!! Hope that helps a little as I am better at thinking things than putting them into words *g*

Oh this is wonderful, creepy, scary. Orlando as a sensitive and Billy and Dom as his ghostbusting buddies. I love it. Am sad Elijah is a ghosty but it is going to be fun finding out what happened and why.
Thanks

Oh thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Yeah the thought of those three doing paranormal investigations together made me smile when I was putting together the team in my head so I went with it.

I know...that wasn't what I had in mind when I decided to tackle this prompt but that's what the boys decided they wanted. Since my Elijah muse is a bit shy and reclusive I decided to let him do what he wanted. Hopefully other Elijah muses will give it a chance as well...

Thanks again!

I love watching the show 'Ghost Hunters'...I only wish they looked like this group *g*

It'll be interesting to see where this investigation takes them all.
