So, recently a friend of mine came out as a Swiftie. My sum total knowledge of Taylor Swift is that she is a country singer who had a song featured on the episode of Supernatural where Dean gets turned into a teenage version of himself, the punchline being that this famously gruff and manly classic rock listening bro is now listening to girly

Ohh this sounds like a pleasant trip. Here it is -2 C right now and the night will bring more snow. Sigh. But with climate change at least it seldom remains cold and snowy for long....

My daughter used to listen to Taylor Swift. Now it seems like a lot more people my age are paying attention to her; not necessarily because of her music, but because of her activism, how well she treats her band and roadies, and how she tweaked the orange guy.
